ODIS 12 OPENS SECOND LOCATION AT EMTA’S MIDCITY STRIP

Erie, PA- Odis 12 has officially opened its second location at the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority’s (EMTA) joint operations facility complex on Wednesday, September 30th, becoming the first business to open in EMTA’s dedicated commercial retail space along East 14th Street, now known as the MidCity Strip.

Moving forward, EMTA’s commercial space along East 14th Street will be known collectively as the MidCity Strip. The title distinguishes the retail businesses from EMTA’s transit operations while creating a distinct identity for the growing commercial area.

“We’re pleased to welcome Odis 12 as the first business to open at the MidCity Strip,” said Jeremy Peterson, EMTA CEO. “Bringing businesses like Odis 12 to this area creates more activity and opportunity along 14th Street and helps us continue building a space that serves not only our passengers, but the surrounding community as well.”

Odis 12 began customizing the space in late 2025. The commercial retail space build-out was complete in 2025 with state and federal funding.

“We are really looking forward to providing a second location for our customers,” says Mike Miodis, owner of Odis 12. “We had been searching for the right location for years and are really happy to have everything work out with the EMTA and East 14th Street.”

MidCity Strip will serve as Odis 12’s second location and first within the City of Erie, with its flagship restaurant on 12th Street in Millcreek. EMTA, Odis 12 and Altair Real Estate Services have worked for many months to establish this agreement.
