Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority fixed route services will not be in operation while EMTA LIFT will be providing medical trips only tomorrow, Tuesday, December 3rd, due to the extreme weather conditions and safety concerns regarding roadways.

EMTA recognizes the critical need for medical shared ride services provided by the LIFT and will operate medical trips only tomorrow.

EMTA fixed route service is not yet safe to operate as roadways are in very poor condition due to the snow emergency and will not be in operation tomorrow.

EMTA’s staff have been working around the clock along side the city, county and municipal crews in order for transporation to take place safely. EMTA officials apologize for the inconvenience, but are takinging the necessary steps in order to keep passengers and staff safe.
