Please be advised all EMTA buses will pull over in a safe location shortly after 3PM as a precaution during eclipse totality. Buses will remain stationary until totality concludes.
EMTA Mobile Apps!
EMTA encourages the use of its mobile apps to plan ahead. Token Transit is mobile app available for cashless bus fare and storing bus passes. The myStop app is a great tool to find, track and plan your ride on the e. The myStop app also provides services alerts and updates on routes in real time.
A desktop version on the myStop app is also available.
Complimentary Shuttle
EMTA will be offering a complimentary shuttle that will service the Intermodal Center, travel across East Front Street, turning south on State Street, travel along east Perry Square, service the shelters at 7th & French and 10th & Holland and back to the Intermodal Center. The shuttle will begin at 9AM and continue until traffic clears. Passengers wishing to use the shuttle should wait at the shelter locations or at designated stops.

Single rides, transfer and day passes can be purchased on the bus with cash. Day passes can be purchased at the fare box for $3.30. This paper pass is valid for unlimited rides until 11:59 PM on the day it is purchased. Please note, the bus driver does not carry money and you will not receive any change if you do not pay with exact fare.
Day passes are valid for one rider.
Physical passes of larger quantity can be purchased at our ticketing locations.
You may also use the Token Transit app to purchase a pass using a bank account or bank card linked to the app. You cannot use your bank card directly on the farebox. The pass can be purchased in advance and stored until used on a bus. Once the pass has been validated on a bus, it is good for the posted determined time.
