Erie’s Total Solar Eclipse – April 8th, 2024

EMTA buses will be in full operation that day to get you or your guests to where they want to be on April 8th!
EMTA riders should expect delays and routes will be adjusted if necessary due to traffic congestion. Riders should use the myStop app for real-time bus information and trip planning. The LIFT will be providing medical only trips and ADA rides on April 8th and we encourage riders to consider scheduling non-essential rides for another day.
There will be no regular fixed route service to the Intermodal Center on April 8th starting at 9AM. All passengers using regular route buses must take ‘Special Event’ complimentary shuttle to 7th & French to connecting routes. Please use the myStop app to find your regular fixed route bus.

Please be advised all EMTA buses will pull over in a safe location shortly after 3PM as a precaution during eclipse totality. Buses will remain stationary until totality concludes.
